Poll fever grips Delhi

The campaign for Delhi elections has picked up momentum. Recently 71st Republic day was celebrated with great joy and fervour across the national capital. Amid the celebrations, political stalwarts were also seen mingling with citizens. 

In a Grand celebration held at Upadhyay Block, Laxmi Nagar in East Delhi, Yuva Utkarsh Sewa Samiti under the leadership of Tej Pratap Singh hoisted National Flag in the presence of the who’s who of the city, including the aspiring candidates contesting the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi, besides a cheerful gathering of general public in high spirits.

Among the candidates and political stalwarts present at the at the occassion included Hari Dutt Sharma from Congress, Nitin Tyagi from Aam Aadmi Party and Abhay Verma from BJP to name and few among others. 

The joyous ocassion  started with flag hoisting ceremony just after paying tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad and it culminated in a grand crescendo with the slogans like Jai Hind and Vijayi Vishwa Tiranga Pyara, Jhanda Uncha Rahe Humara. Simultaneously on the sidelines a series of cultural programs were also organised in which kids of the locality also participated.
